Advancing People are working closely with an International Blue Chip IT firm based in Northamptonshire who are looking for an experienced European Audit Manager to lead a European Internal Audit team, reporting directly to the Director of Internal Audit who is based in the USA.

This rarely available and senior Auditing role will significant travel across Europe including visiting sites based in UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Sweden.

You will be giving direction to the Internal Audit team, planning the audit and developing in depth work programs in order to improve business processes and to minimise risk.
 

Acting as a fieldwork leader you will be directing financial and non-financial colleagues whilst updating them on audit progress and communicating staff performance. You will pro-actively looking for potential audit issues and will create new controls on an ad-hoc basis.

This role requires the success candidate to have in depth knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, COSO and SOX coupled with a proven track record of similar jobs for the last few years of your career.

Direct experience of dealing with businesses based in different European countries is essential to be considered for this role.

You must be a strong presenter with the tenacity to get people on side at a variety of levels throughout my clients business.

My client is offering a basic salary of c£60-70k basic package for relevant candidates with a prompt interview available - in complete confidence.

Due to the need to travel in this role, relevant candidates will be based in Northants with a remit to travel throughout Europe as and when required.
